The main benefit of bio detox is that 98% of ingredients are of natural origin and 21% are derived from organic farming. However, for me, the formula just does not work on its own. The foundation contains rice powder which has mattifying properties - I have combination oily skin and bio detox is too flat and matte for me on the skin; I like some natural glow which gets completely cancelled out. The advantage to this is it doesn't need set with a powder and it is long lasting and would probably be ideal for people with really oily skin.
Although not the most flattering photograph it shows well both the positive and negatives of the appearance of the foundation. It has really good coverage - as you can see it gives a nice even base for the rest of my make up. However, you can also see just how mattifying the foundation is.
Bio detox definitely has both postives and negatives and for me the negatives outweigh the positives for using it on its own. However, I have been using it mixed with my GOSH Lift Me Up foundation which creates such a beautiful base which you can see here. Before writing this I did have a look at reviews of bio detox online and I'm definitely in the minority so it's worth looking at next time you're at a counter!
