July Favorites

Hello Sweets :)

Here are my favorites for the month of July...

1. Micheal Kors 'Very Hollywood'

Oh my days, I love this perfume! It has notes of mandarin, bergamot, jasmine, ylang ylang, raspberry and gardenia. It's really quite floral and sweet especially on first smell however as it settles down it settles slightly more musky - I love the bottle, the perfume is centred around old glamour and the bottle looks like old flashbulbs. Perfect for summer!

2. MUA Shade 9 (Pearl)

I had read mixed reviews on the MUA shadows however curiosity took over and I bought two - both purple shades, one matte one pearl. I threw the matte one away after using it once, there was literally no colour pay off whatsoever. However shade 9 - WOW. It's such a beautiful vibrant purple with a metallic blue running through it...

This is after one swipe, it's pigmented, smooth and blendable - amazing for one pound!

3. Two Faced Shadow Insurance

I've always been an Urban Decay Primer Potion girl but until the new bottle gets released I was getting irritated with having to saw it open and so decided to try shadow insurance instead. It's a lot lighter than UD primer potion and honestly yesterday after a ten hour shift my shadow still looked flawless - it's definitely a new favorite!

4. Boots Exfoliating Gloves

This month is the first time I've ever used exfoliating gloves but they have greatly improved my tanning routine. I love using sugar scrubs however they do tend to leave a film on the skin which causes whichever tan product I'm using to roll (how annoying is it when that happens?). These snazzy little gloves are now an indispensable part of my beauty routine.

5. Spornette Little Wonder

Pretty much just an amazing backcombing brush, it's thin enough to get right into the crown of the head and the end is pointed meaning it can be used to section hair too - I bought this in Sally's for about £4, if you're a backcombing addict you need this brush in your life!

6. Diorskin Poudre Shimmer Amber Diamond

I have used this everyday since I bought it - honestly Amber Diamond deserves the hype it has claimed, it's instant glow without glitter, if you want to see how it looks on click here.

7. NARS Laguna

I know I've included this in my favorites before but it wasn't until I had to spend a week using my bourjois bronzer (the chocolate-y one) that I realised how much I loved Laguna. For me, it is the perfect colour, never muddy or orange, not sparkly but not flat either. Although it is expensive, my first compact lasted six months before I dropped it so you definitely get your moneys worth - Laguna I love you!

Lots of Love

Nic
