November Favorites

Hey Dolls :)

I fear that this month, my favorites may be a little dull. I haven't been wearing as much make up on account of being in the library daily from 8 am and at that time in the morning make up is the last thing on my mind. However, there are a few new products I've been using in November that I have been rather enjoying.

HealthySexyHair Soy Tri-wheat Leave In Conditioner

In the winter months I like to add a leave in conditioner to my hair routine as my hair, particularly at the ends, can become quite dry. The healthysexyhair conditioner is honestly one of the best I have tried - it doesn't weigh your hair down or cause product build up. I've used it on both dry and wet hair, both of which works equally as well. My hair has been so shiny since using this conditioner and I've also noticed that in all this snow my hair is less quick to get frizzy - plus it smells amazing!

Blistex Intensive Moisturiser

As soon as I start using the central heating more, my lips become so dry, cracked and sore (attractive, I know) so blistex intensive moisturiser has been my absolute saviour. I honestly cannot believe how quickly this has helped my lips. It does sting a little when applied but this calms down quickly to a slight tingle. It smells and tastes of menthol/mint which I don't love but is bearable. It may not be the most glamorous of lip balms but it is the best I've tried.

Vichy Dermablend

I feel that since there have been so many reviews of dermablend lately I don't want to say too much. However, I will say it's absolutely worth all of the praise embellished upon it. It gives amazing coverage without feeling too heavy and lasts so well on the skin. My one criticism is the colour range isn't very wide and even the lightest shade, 15 is quite orange toned. This isn't really a problem for me as I don't use it all over my face but I definitely recommend colour testing before buying.

Good Things Five Minute Facial Mask

I love face masks for a mid-week pick me up and this good things mask is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It's clay based which is ideal for problem skin like mine. The mask has a really brightening effect on the skin which always leaves my face looking fresh and smoothed. It also smells delicious!

Elf All Over Colour Stick - Pink Lemonade

I regard myself as a bit of an elf novice but I absolutely love this product! It is a cream product that can be used as a blush, highlighter, eyeshadow or lip colour. Normally I use this on my cheeks which gives a really fresh faced appearance.

Pink lemonade is a really pretty rose pink with silver sheen. I would love to know what other elf products you would recommend?

17 Last Fix Polish - Midnight Sapphire

I really love the 17 lasting fix polishes and picked up this dark blue after seeing lauren conrad and whitney port sporting a similar shade. I absolutely love the colour of this polish and have been wearing it lots however I was a little disappointed as it seemed a bit more gloopy than other lasting fix polishes I have tried - nothing a little nail polish remover couldn't fix!

Lots of Love
Nicola

  5. Mary - Yes of course I can:) I just wasn't too sure whether people were bored of hearing about it!

Rosaaay - I don't know what I would of done without blistex lately!

    Imo - It's so nice!!

Abbie - Do you apply it straight from the stick? I normally use my fingers and warm it between my fingers first and it's normally OK!
