My Style Icons

Hello Everyone :)

For the last couple of weeks I have been loving formspring as it indulges my ridiculously nosey side (if you want to ask me any more questions feel free to here). One of the questions asked was 'Who are your style icons?' and I realised I don't think i've ever really chatted about who I admire and take inspiration from! The following women in my eyes have got 'it'...I don't know what 'it' is, all I know is I want some!

Alabama Worley

I suppose this is a funny one as she isn't a real person but a character from a film however I think she has thee best, most original style ever...



I love the animal prints, the colour combinations, her ray bans, her red lips and nails and the fact she uses a tin lunch box as a bag...she's just amazing!! Please, if you haven't seen True Romance you have to watch it! I heart Bama and Clarence...'okay doggie daddy!'

Zooey Deschanel

To me, Zooey is simply beautiful...I love the way she puts together clothes, her hair is beautiful and I heart her understated make up...she's in so many of my favorite films plus I love She and Him!



Also, she is married to Ben Gibbard, one of my favorite musicians of all time! Pretty much, Zooey I heart you!!

Regina Spektor

Another one of my favorite musicians Regina is beautiful...



Her music is just as beautiful as she is! She has such a simple, classic style and I always have total make up envy! I've seen her about 6 times now and she is so lovely and humble in person!

Carrie Bradshaw

Oops another fictional character ha ha! Carrie's style to me is perfection...



Her beautiful long wavy hair, her love of pink cheeks, massive flowers, big layered skirts, beautiful bags and shoes...ahhhh it's love!

Lily Allen

Ahhh I think i've talked about my love for Lily before and this is why...



Again, I always love Lily's make up...I heart cat flicks! And it was her who inspired my block fringe...If only I could pull it off as well!

Dawn Porter

To me, Dawn Porter's style is not only inspirational but I love her work! I think you can find a lot of her documentries on you tube for any non UK people who don't know who she is!



Again I love her beautiful big fringe and she always wears amazing, fun clothes! Plus i'm always envious of her amazing tan. As I said it's more than style, I find Dawn so funny and inspirational by standing up for what she believes in
